The Montana Office of Rural Health & AHEC aim to enhance access to quality healthcare, particularly primary and preventative care, by improving the supply and distribution of healthcare professional through community/academic educational partnerships. Our partnerships have created programs and committees to support Montana communities and the state's healthcare workforce. 

AHEC Scholars

A nationwide certificate program for health professional students who are interested in enhancing their interprofessional skills in rural and undeserved settings.

Mobile Health Training Program

The Mobile Health Training Program offers MSU BSN students unique learning and training opportunities in rural health and primary care.

Rural Ready Nurse Practitioner 

The Rural Ready NP program supports and trains MSU DNP students who are committed to serving communities in rural Montana.

Behavioral Health Workforce Education & Training 

BHWET-East funds and trains select behavioral health professions students in the Eastern part of Montana for the final year of their training program.
