CNE Preceptor 101 Training
Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence (CNE) is an organization with the mission of supporting a strong, diverse nursing and healthcare workforce through education and leadership development. CNE's Preceptor 101 Training is a course for entry-level preceptors, designed to equip them with the skills and tools necessary to feel prepared when teaching students in the clinical setting.
Through our regional CFPA, current nursing preceptors and/or those interested in becoming preceptors can take register to take the Preceptor 101 course at no cost.*
You also are eligible to earn a $200 stipend upon completion of series. This funding is limited to participants from MT, WY, CO, ND, SD, and UT.
In order to receive the stipend, you must complete the entire course and all course requirements.
*There are limited grant-funded spots in each workshop cohort, but this course is held four times each year to give as many folks the opportunity to participate through CFPA as possible!
This course is designed for clinicians interested in a role as a clinical educator within their practice.
Preceptor 101 Training is virtual and consists of five 1-hour sessions, one session a week.
