The Montana Oral Health Training Track provides the knowledge and skills necessary to advance learners' knowledge in Oral Health and key topics including:oralhealth throughout the lifespan, acute dental problems, the relationship betweenoral and systemichealth, and building a safe dental visit. The self-guided curriculum takes approximately 12 hours and learners will be provided a certificate and a stipend upon completion.

 

This course addresses the nature, prevalence, and consequences of oral disease throughout the life cycle with a focus on correlations between oral and systemic health. Clinicians will learn their role in preventing oral disease, addressing frequently encountered oral problems, and working as part of an inter-professional team to promote oral health.

Foundations: Building the Safest Dental Visit is a web-based, interactive, self-paced training to help increase adherence with established infection prevention and control practices among dental healthcare personnel in any setting where dental healthcare is delivered. It consists of three modules and is estimated to take 4 hours to complete.
