Our core programs consist of the Community Health Services Development (CHSD), Practice Operations National Database (POND), and Lean programs.

Small Rural Hospital Improvement Grant Program (SHIP)

The Small Rural Hospital Improvement Grant Program (SHIP) provides funds to more than 1,600 participating hospitals in 47 participating State Offices of Rural Health (SORH).

Montana Rural Health Association

MRHA's mission is to promote a healthy rural Montana by addressing issues of healthcare delivery, health professions education, public health education, health services, rural health research, and health policy through national, state, and community leadership.

National Rural Health Day

Each year the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health and its partners set aside the third Thursday of November to celebrate National Rural Health Day (NRHD). 

 

The Montana Office of Rural Health is supported by a grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
